Dr. Ed Collazo grew up in Killeen before moving to attend the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1990 at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City.

He served as the lead chiropractor at Fort Hood before returning to civilian practice in 2018, and has treated numerous professional athletes and Olympians. Dr. Collazo was a competitive athlete himself, earning state, national, and international recognition.
